HALL OF FAMER Jackie Robinson autographed 3x5 card (authentic) and 1947 MLB debut newspaper
$3,499.99 (FREE USPS Priority Mail shipping)
Signed "Best Wishes Jackie Robinson"
NOTE: When I purchased this in the 1980s, the seller had affixed a 1982 U.S. postage stamp of Mr. Robinson to the front of card. It appears that the autograph seeker had previously affixed a black & white magazine photo as well. The back side of this index card - likely written by a young fan - reads: Dear Mr. Robinson, You are one of my favorite infielders. I hope you and Brooklyn have a great season this year. Please autograph the pictures I have sent you and send them to me. Please send me an autographed photo if possible. Your friend and fan, David Earley (Please autograph the other side of this card.) His reference stating "I hope you and Brooklyn have a great season this year" would indicate that this 3x5 was signed sometime between 1947 and 1956.
